i can't google?!

i've been trying for more than an hour to google anything without success. anyone else have that problem? i'm in amanzimtoti and my wofe on mtn works fine. :S a few othe site aren't working either, but i can do yahoo (blehg, facebook, mybb. odd.

i tried rebooting my phone (obvious things first), no luck. :(
 
Mweb & Telkom ADSL had the exact same problem as Cell C... Seems to be the Google Global Cache (GGC) in Cape Town that is not resolving properly, and for once it's not a problem with the operators.
 
ahh ok. i though it was a carry-over vodacom problem seeing as vodacom guy is taking over cellc.

i'm glad it's fixed now. googling things on yahoo just isn't the same. :)
 
Yip, it looks like those fricken idjits have the same problem again.... world class CellC!!!
 
same here! cant use google at all (after using cell c for at least a year and a half now without no such problems)in durbanville, damn this is not working for me
bing is horrible!!

I had the same problem Sunday night from 8ta. Isn't it google issue?

Hey Armando, had DNS issues regarding Google as well yesterday...google.com and google.co.za did manage to get through to Gmail

Still no luck for me in amanzimtoti. Can't open diddly squat on my phone (sgs2) and tablet (huawei). Been like this since yesterday. I've had to resort to using my wife's phone (MTN). Google doesn't load and neither does mybroadband. Facebook half loads but never completes.
 
Hi All

I have gotten some info back.
There was an issue with*GOOGLE*upstream.
Just want to find out if it was Google or Neotel.
It has only been for some users not every one is affected.
