Coffee has been arranged with Elizabeth.

How will the cookie crumble?

Get her to sign a contract of intent before going on coffee. That way you can see if you are a test drive or not.

Coffee with Elizabeth: A post-mortem

In the end, we had dinner, not just coffee. She flirted a lot. However I believe she did so either (a) because she enjoys the power that flirting gives her over men, or (b) she's trying to hone her flirting skills.

She told me she'd been out for coffee with three other guys as well over the past two weeks. Either she's dating as many guys as she can to increase her chances of finding a good match, or she needs the attention and approval of men to feel good about herself.

Abruptly she said: "Do you think we can ask for the bill?"

She did however hug me when she left.

There were some signs of psychological pathology. She became very hostile when I made a throwaway remark that most people would not even have picked up on, but she interpreted it as an insult. Then a few minutes later, she became overly friendly as though to apologise.

I doubt I'll be hearing from her again. It was fun though.

lol you sound like a school girl.

1) Women who are single will never only go out with one person
2) there will always be more than 1 guy trying his luck therefore you have to be better than the competition
3) You have testosterone, use it.

Well, she went out with you, so that was to be expected...

The Venus symbol

The Venus symbol is associated with femininity:

On my way to coffee with Elizabeth, shortly after the sun had set, I noticed Venus in the night sky. Was it a good omen? Of course, I now know that Elizabeth was not to be my Venus.

Last night, I again noticed Venus in the night sky while I was driving. But then I began noticing that Venus was moving. Eventually I realised it wasn't Venus I was looking at, but an aircraft.

The moral of the story: the true Venus is always there, somewhere, in the night sky, but often times we get exited when we see fake Venuses.
