I Hate Telkom !!!!!!

erm, am i reading this wrong?

how much are you able to download if you hit your line at max capacity the whole time? i deduce that the line in question was a 512 line, so wouldnt that result in 163.5 GB if downloading at 64kb/s 24/7?

help me out here :P

EDIT: It would be possible with a 1024 line i suppose, ignore this post then...

Which again begs the question of how true it is.. we won't know, they could have thought it up just to have some kind of defense for a reason for per GB billing.
 
So, if Telkom cannot discern between international and local bandwidth, then how on earth can they offer leased line packages with say, 384k local bandwidth, and 128k international bandwidth? Smells like bullsh*t to me.
 
Well, this situation is simply getting worse...

I am the IT co-ordinator for a school... and we need our internet connection...

The Children alone normally do close on 20GB a month for simple research ... this excludes all downloads and p2p.

I am at my wits end... is sentech an option?
