Reminds me of the incident when Vodacom 'flicked the switch' on CellC a while ago!
Vodacom claimed that CellC engineers were screwing around on the network and disconnected anything and everything CellC. It was chaos, for a while no-one on the CellC network could make any calls or receive any. Then CellC put statements on their web site and claimed that Vodacom engineers were at fault.
I think Vodacom just wanted to demonstrate why it's not a good idea to go with CellC or Virgin mobile... a bit of a knee-jerk operation.
Same goes for internet - somehow Telkom will always be involved and always to the disadvantage of the other companies...danger runs deep.
