I hate the new firefox

I for one hate the new firefox 3
I hate the way the navigation bar gives ALL my history, and I can't get around the fact that this new one isn't that different from ver 2...

It's annoying me to pieces now that my history come up, not just the sites I type in the bar.


Oh, ya, I forgot to mention that when I tried to revert back to version 2, I couldn't use the dam browser, It just would not work

Got a dodgy browsing history? You can always delete private data or set it to only show a few days history.

The OS X skin for Mac version works perfectly on windows - dunno why they say its for mac only... ))
installed something called piclens - also a damn nice plugin...

I kinda know what you mean. Its annoying me because it takes me longer to find what I'm looking for in this new list, since there is now so much extra stuff there + the title are now also there. I'm sure I'll get used to it though.

Perhaps setting "Keep my history for X days" to 1 day would help? My plan is just to get used to it.

Remove all FF versions from the PC and then install the one you want.

This might be of some help on FF3. Set value to 0.

1) Enter about:config into the address bar and hit Enter.
2) Press the "I''ll be carefull. I promise!" button. (Because you will be.)
3) Enter browser.urlbar.maxRichResults in the Filter field to reach this preference.
4) Set it to your desired number of suggestions.

There is a workaround: disable (elG results) the plugin compatibility check. Apparently (I've yet to verify, but soon will on my test box) it works, but beware: it IS ill-advised!

There is also a way to turn your bar back into the ff2 style. Just Google it. I have seen people talking about it.

That's THE big feature of FF3 lol. I love it though. Initially had a problem with add-ons that didn't work but found updates for all them so life goes on.
