Man, my sister teased me today because I've been affected by the infamous ass-chin syndrome. I've had a beard all year, so she hadn't noticed it... but I'm clean shaven now, and she brought it up. Anyone know a good plastic surgeon?
 
You referring to a cleft chin?

This is an inherited trait in humans, where the dominant gene causes the cleft chin while the recessive genotype presents without a cleft.

I guess it could go either way. For example, peach butt:

It's a peach with a butt. But technically it's a butt-shaped peach, so it's a butt peach. Whereas a peach butt would be someone's butt that looks like a peach.

Something to that effect at least :D
 
You are right, after I submitted, I realized it could go either way.

In any case, isn't a chin butt / butt chin considered a positive thing generally?

Generally, yes. Mr Scotty, however, is an anomaly. I think that the only time having a cleft chin is a bad thing is when it looks like this:

Just grow the beard back ... it's a win - win scenario.

1. You save on surgery
2. You save on blades, shaving cream and time wasted in front of a mirror
