I just auditioned for Red Alert 3 :)

I'm trying to recall what your actual standard speaking voice is - then again, the only reference I would have to that is having seen a few of your stand-up gigs back in the 90's.
Then again, I would most likely have been off my face anyway :D

I do recall an incredibly bizarre evening on Rockey Street once, with a few bands, including Live Jimi Presley were playing - God, can't remember the name of the venue? - had an upstairs open air bar, small front section with tables and a large back area where the stage was - electric something or other?

Anyway, on that evening, it seemed the entire club was on drugs of one variety or another - and then old LGM gets up on stage and starts ranting away 10 to the dozen on a massive range of subjects in an incredibly short amount of time. Now I wouldn't swear that LGM was on a mind altering substance of one sort or another, but I tell you one thing, it was a very odd stand-up routine :)

After that, Live Jimi Presley got onstage, with the ever present 'gimp' and started to confuse the audience with a heady mix of drug induced industrial grunge, complete with power tools.

Of course my memory may have failed me somewhat and it was probably a combination of two different occassions I'm mixing up?

BTW, look at Rockey Street now - sad, so sad:-

re rockey street, yeah baby yeah - the 'Harbour Cafe' (which then became Tandoor) mmmm.
And yeah, given that joints were the order of the day around the fires in the backyard, odds are good I was at very least stoned out of my gourd - and depending on the time period, I might have been out of my tree on acid as well.. aah, the good ole days.

No. I am NOT Alex J :P I've never been that well behaved or mainstream.. or that rich :P

When you're too mainstream, it becomes a big scandal and messes with your bucks-making if you're caught in a toilet with a sheep - whereas in my world -
I had many sheep, in many toilets, and everyone just went 'Ja, that's him, typical weirdo'
- and so I got away with it :P
(Whereas, for instance, Deon Maas writes some arb stuff about Satanism, and loses his job, or Steve Hofmeyer whines at a priest, and there's skande..
Being 'mainstream' means you're limited as regards what you can do and get away with, and of course, you can't even dream about sheep in any toilets :P )
