I left Frogfoot.....

I left Frogfoot for another fibre operator and my experience is

Openserve, FF can stick it up their arse and burn in hell. their network sucks. Packetloss or line drops and forget getting a detailed report as to why this is the case. Just no, they used to be great before Vox took over now they are ****
 
Moved from FF to Openserve - Atomic Access is my ISP in Cape Town. Only time I have had downtime is when vandals stole the cables otherwise I am very happy with Openserve.
 
If you did move, please mention the new network.

The second Openserve becomes available a large swath of people in George will be moving immediately. We have zero trust in Frogfoot's reliability since it's been a shiteshow from their inception here in 2019.

I don't think there's been any feedback from them after the massive disaster last week?
Afrihost hasn't said a word and I've received nothing from Frogfoot either. Not a sorry or anything, just 4 days of unusable internet. (After 2 weeks prior to that of constant, regular pactketloss every 10-15minutes - verified throughout the entire town's Frogfoot network, especially during the evenings)

The only info we have is this article on the Cape Independent, and they got all of that info themselves. No accountability / responsibility or anything of the sort. Just a big DEIsaster of a company.

Take your entire customer list of users in Eastern, Central and Western Cape and assist all of them please. Canned response such as this is indicative that Frogfoot have no cooking clue as to the size of their issue!

I'm with you on this. Only the unavailability of Openserve keeping me on FF.
 
I was hesitant initially, but had to move. Coolideas facilitated everything, Octotel had their line installed in an hour, and it happened after 4:30 on a Friday afternoon. Superb service, and all works 100%.
