...after reading the ADSL Newbie Q&A (very informative), a more contentious question needs to be raised:

Is i-burst kicking 3G's arse all the way back to Kingdom Come?


I realise 3G is everywhere (more or less) and MyWireless are reputable *Okay, hardened wireless users may ROFL after reading that* but isn't i-Burst's speed make it the best value for money we have? Better, dare I say it, than ADSL?

:confused: but not confused enough to sign my soul over to Satan's own phone company.

Its obvious that you are new here. Do yourself a favour and read a couple of posts in the iBurst forum to see the many problems they have.

FYI, speed doesn't matter if you have a crappy small cap.

heh... you cant compare fixed line to wireless... but once being a sentech user and switching over to iburst... well sentech is an overglorified wireless 56k modem in my oppinion.

3g? pfft... 3g is the over priced inbetweener. lets face facts. 3g is the most expensive internet connectivity in this country which is quite remarkable considering their competition is telkom. their speeds are not even broadband rated and their QOS seems to be worst of the lot.

so in other words... i agree iburst is good value for money but i would stil rather have dsl 1024 anyday:D
