Don't understand the need for electric blankets. Just use winter sheets and a 13 tog duvet. Wear winter pajamas.

Makes a big difference when you get in and the bed is warm already. One of the best inventions.

You turn it off when you get in, it's not meant to stay on through the night. The only time I keep it on is if it's below 0, and that too on the lowest setting...
