I have a problem and I need help!!!!
1. The guy Im dating tells me he is going to a christmas party with this girl friend whom I have never met!
2> He forwards a email to me where she has put him down without consent as her escort to the Rod Stewart concert.

SHould I be concerned??????

on the surface of it, he seems to be playing it straight up, and in the open with you. I wouldn't be concerned.
 
He told her to do so he could lie to you and say he didn't want to.
He can just not go nobody can force him to do anything...but he wants to..?
 
Yes. Be worried.
Ask to meet her(whats wrong with meeting your boyfriends friends) and say you want to go with to the concert(you want to have fun too!). If he doesn't find excuses for that then you don't have to worry.
 
Nah...don't think so - when he doesn't tell you this stuff you should be worried...

No man.... i used to do that... i knew that the guy would have a fit if i asked to go so i would jus t make up stories like that... easier to tell a fib than to be caught out doing something you shouldn't and kept quiet about... more ways to wiggle out of it when you get caught in the lie...
 
well if you know anything about guys it is that we don't prepare to fail - we don't prepare stories, we try to hide anything and everything if we gonna do something wrong.

we aren't that smart, to pull a double whammy - we just lie WHEN we get caught.

You have to play it smart. If you come across as jealous it will be an issue....so....Tell him that you don't mind if he goes with this chicky, but you would like to meet this girl, and see what he says.

Has he ever spoken about her?

I dont buy number 2.

Well i would freak out and for sure i would be worried, firstly its fine that he is upfront, he can be upfront and you think, no atleast he is upfront but how will you know if he is not boning this girl? Just because he is upfront does not mean everything is fine.

However if you trust him then it should be fine, why is he going with someone else and not you just out interest, even without his consent he could turn her down because he must know it would drive anyone crazy.
Keeper the smartest thing you can do is tell the person you are seeing upfront as they won't think its as bad as if you lied, not all men are stupid and hide things, you get the players who know how to get around the whole lying and cheating story by being honest.

Why is he not taking you to the xmas party?

Keeper this is the 2008, we are not as doff as previous decade's. Lying you get caught, being honest means you have a free-be to screw around with your g/f's OK. :p
 
nah i dont think you should. If a guy was going to cheat he wouldn't be so honest about it.

Anyways i think it depends on how long you've been dating. I know I would not allow my girlfriend to go to a party with a "guy friend" of hers. But if it was a girl that i had just been dating for a few weeks then I would be okay with it.
 
Well maybe he isn't planning to cheat but the girl has a pantie full of plans?
