iBurst cap usage inconsistencies

I'm currently on the 5GB per month package, thus I receive 5,120MB per month (1,024 * 5).

Now, this is what my cap usage shows:

If I carried over 4,661MB, then I should have 9,781MB remaining for the month. In fact, since we get an additional 250MB this month I should have 10,031MB remaining. However, it shows 9,645MB remaining.

9,645MB - 497MB = 9,148MB, not 8,634MB. It should be 9,534MB remaining (10,031MB - 497MB).

Again it shows a 376MB increase in my usage with only a 20MB deduction on my remaining cap. It should be 8,777MB (10,031MB - 1,254MB) remaining, though I can assure you that I did not use 1,254.08MB in less than two days, the actual usage should be closer to 800MB (I'll give you the exact amount, up to the byte, if required).

This is worrying, as I've received additional cap in the past as compensation for missing cap (twice, in fact). When can we expect accurate cap usage reports?

A 55MB cap usage increase with a 40MB remainder decrease.

I'll keep my actual usage statistics handy for when they change it to the correct values.

Total: 845.8917MB

I just want to mention that I did not receive my 1GB compensation last month (as promised) for missing cap during August.

No response from iBurst despite a HelloPeter complaint lodged as well. This is really getting frustrating. :mad:

Notice the 11.4699MB cap usage increase and the 11.48MB remainder decrease. Inconsistent and incorrect.

My actual cap usage for this month (current as of 14:14 04/10/2009):
Downloaded: 881.5412MB
Uploaded: 46.8222MB
Total: 928.3634MB

I've lodged another complaint on HelloPeter in the hopes that someone will take note and get in touch! :mad:

Shaun, I am now capped but should have another 200 MB I think or more, any news on my investigations? I would like some bandwidth allocated to me because the calcs are completely out.

Well, my father was just phoned by the lady who promised us the 1GB compensation. She had such a poor attitude that my father put the phone down on her, he is livid...

Along with other clients in your client base. However, that was due to a glitch which could've been rectified by your system at the start of this month as your CEO implied, so I don't see what the 1GB compensation has to do with a 5GB glitch. You have given me 5GB due to a glitch and 0GB due to owed compensation.

Worse still, someone who was not owed 1GB in compensation received 5GB that wasn't due to him, while someone who was owed 1GB in compensation received 4GB that wasn't due to him. Consistency, that's what I plead for.

EDIT: I await to be corrected on whether or not it was a glitch. If it was a glitch, I am still owed my 1GB compensation. If it was a freebie to all iBurst users, I am still owed my 1GB compensation. If it was compensation for poor systems given to all iBurst users, I should still receive 1GB more compensation than a user that had no compensation owing if we both received the same amount of cap as compensation.
