iBurst claims happiest employees

Happy employees and angry customers deserves no award.

Hard Working employees & happy customers is what should be really be awarded.
Like the WUG. THESE GUYS deserve medals, purple hearts even, not orange bubbles.

WUG FTW!

“...happy employees translate into happy customers...”

They probably work on a one to one ratio. One happy employee equals to one happy customer...how many employees do they have?

I must be honest, I would also be a happy employee if I worked for a company where my ineptitude was overlooked.

Seriously, it irks me that companies such as iBurst get awards whilst ignoring customer complaints and run departments inefficiently.

But then this happens at most companies, so why should they be any different.

I must say, this announcement combined with the one for the International award, you would really think that this is a super top notch company...

maybe someone's palms were greased before the ship sinks completely ?

This is truly a joke - I guess Shaun Green & Co. stay happy by completely ignoring this forum and other complaint sites. Thanks to the DoC and Icasa companies like this can stay in business. If there was real competition in SA telecoms they would not be so happy as they would be unemployed.

what a waste of energy. if all this time was diverted 2 ensuring u hav satisfied (ex)customers, some1 would actually take u seriously.

COBBLERS!!!

... happy employees translate into happy customers and that’s our entire reason for existence ...

I can't BELIEVE he'd have the cheek to say that. Has he seen hellopeter lately? Via transitivity, unhappy customers must equal unhappy employees. Honestly, what a lot of tripe.

Asked why iBurst employees were particularly pleased with their employer, Mr. Knott-Craig responded that they were in fact pleased with each other.

Misery loves company...

Perhaps they really are happy. Working for a company where the goals are clearly not customer satisfaction must be a hoot! :D

I wonder how many (or is it few) iBurst employees choked on their food/drink in utter surprise to this award announcement. Bwahahaaaa!
A thought on the side: Submitting a complaint to iBurst has the same effect as submitting a complaint at the Suggestion Box in Hell.

This is what big corporates, or companies with a strong corporate culture do. My previous workplace tried to do the same, except they were crafty enough to try and use one of the Deloitte surveys to achieve their ends.

I personally know one or two ex-iBurps employees and I can tell you now the stuff they told me is downright scary. Stories like, not being paid on time, being abused and being paid a pittance and exceptionally difficult working conditions and managers with deaf ears.
