iBurst DNS

The DNS for iBurst is 196.2.97.234 (Johannesburg), 196.46.70.10 (Cape Town) and 41.208.247.5 (Durban)

Often claims are made in this forum about iBurst's DNS so I downloaded Google's Namebench http://code.google.com/p/namebench/ and tested the DNS from a remote location with a UTID. Here are the results which do not correspond to the claims about slower performance: http://twitpic.com/y14h1

It seems as if you enjoyed standing in for Gcebile while she was on leave. I can't really comment on the DNS issue...mine's working fine, but thanks anyway.

Where is the part that gives your recommended configuration?
Where is the part that says the server you benchmarked is xx % faster than your current DNS?
Also, your image does not make it clear which DNS is your current preferred DNS.

You can download Google's Namebench and post your results of the iBurst network. Google's Namebench doesn't have a save to web function like speedtest.net
