Iburst Hack ?

Anybody knows how iBurst pays for their international bandwidth? Will it be for throughput (total gigs) or do they pay a fixed amount for a maximum guaranteed Mbs per second?

Hope my post make sense.
 
AFAIK, they buy their bandwidth from Telkom, who buys it from somewhere else. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Exactly.

In the end everybody suffers because of those stupid draconian policies. :rolleyes:

They either have to lift up some of the shaping policies, or clamping down (and losing more customers) which turns into a vicious cycle...
 
Why not get ADSL if you can, instead of having to worry about hacks and crap and the constant risk of your bank account being at the mercy of iBurps accounts department.

And yes, there are quite a few "users" on this forum who are employed by IBurps
