iBurst plagued by problems

I'm so glad I persuaded my kid's school's Governing Body not to go with iBurst. Sounds something of a shambles, and their billing seems up the pole too.

iburst started so when, now it's just downhill it seems. Fire all those incompatent people and get your house in order!

Tired, Tired, Tired

I am so Tired of there service, i have had Iburst for one Month now and have been going Back and Forth with Technical people.
They have now even taken our modem as they think it's that.

Iburst MUST get the act together or start handing out free subscription to everyone affected.

incompetant

I love it when someone misspells 'incompetent', especially when accusing someone else of being such...

/me eats, shoots & leaves

Be positive and achieve positive results

Read the iBurst Antennae thread.

There was great frustration, unhappiness, very bad language for which I apologise, before perseverance and simple commonsense prevailed. It was almost a black art in finding efficient and enduring solutions in the dynamic scenario where iBurst is racking up record sales.

Yes, BS's are being heavily loaded - but not all of them. Use the grey matter, much patience, much perseverance and sometimes financial investment, to establish the optimum BS to use, use the best equipment you can get and your iBurst should work.

One of iBurst's users is agriculturally disadvantaged to the extent that no other form of Internet communication is possible, other than through iBurst. The nearest BS is obscured by vegetation (you might call this trees), yet the user has Internet connection through iBurst.

How and why?

A well designed antenna intelligently deployed.

There is hope for those who want cost-effective Internet processing and communication.

You shouldn't have to go to all this effort to get a service you're paying for working though.

The service we are paying for

Before considering iBurst as an ISP (May 1995), I considered all the alternatives and decided that I would go the iBurst route as it was the most economical solution to my Internet Requirements. It also seemed to be an exciting entrepreneural approach where everything preceding it had been steeped in stereotyped ritual.

Hey, as we learned, we built the capacity for improvement! There is nothing more exciting than making things work better!!!!

I've had fun getting here. It is a real pity that more people don't think this way. Imagine where we could go if we could lose our expectations and just reach out for success.

I'm tired, good night.

Small Chronological Error!!

I did say that I was tired, but it is a poor excuse for being 10 years out! I meant to say May 2005.
