I really think iBurst should get Skype at their helpdesk.

I know, it will not help you much if your problem is that you internet does not work (duh) but it will be usefull if you want to ask a few questions and so on.

And it will save us cost. Why should we pay telscum if we have iBurst!

iBurst Technical has Skype, but they don't answer trivial questions. I forget their username, but it's on the forum somewhere.

prolly be more cost effective if they shut down the big tv playing mnet movies in the customer call centre....

Funny you should mention the TV thing, I was wondering if they ever used it for non-work related issues when I visited them. I must say that it was actually on work TV on my 2 pop-in's.

Somebody had the Skype username for iburst technical like Raithalin said, but apparently it isnt official, but you should get help there anyway.

However they arent the normal helpdesk guys and you are actually supposed to get refered to them and given a ticket etc. So only phone them if you have a problem that you know cant be sorted out by the normal guys.
Well, that would be most of ourt problems over here, so calling and asking for 2nd level support is agreat idea if you dont want to conenct through USB and then change the MTU, and use IE etc..

I think this is a great idea. I don't have a Telkom line at all so making support calls from cellphone is a bit pricey. PLUS, we use more bandwidth so iBurst should love having people use Skype! :)

Unfortunetly, no "Comment and Suggestions" link on the iburst site...

You can go to contact us on the top right hand corner of the web page?
or fill in the survey and request this?

But I can see it being slightly hard to impletment, they already have everyone kitted out for normal landlines, with those little headsets etc.
And im shure the Skype line will be empty most of the time.
