iBurst very slow

Below is the most recent result of my Telkom HTTP troughput test, all my tests are now consistently above 1000 Kbps (international is slightly slower but not significantly), with no latency issues whatsoever:

WoW Had a throughput of 25k-34k last night. Got disconnected, after reconnecting speeds were a constant 127K! ...and still this morning! I feel quite dizzy. I LIKE THIS!

well thats sort of what you'd expect from a 1mbit connection, so dont go getting all emotional
 
downloaded 1.7GB yesterday... speeds peaking at 120KB/s...Iburst plse don't go iBust!! I'm lovin it!!!

i only started using DU Meter 3 days ago, so in almost 3days I have gone through 16GB... wand I wasn't even hitting it that hard, back in my wild days on iBurst I would burn 8GB download alone per day :p

hehe, it's so good to see how jealous these non-mac people can get. Let's see, on my mac I have unix, linux, any flavour of windows (via virtual pc), oh and the mac os! nice toy, huh?! And then a fast iBurst connection - my life is complete...

Vowthorn, these are pretty good international times for single threads. The limitation has very little to do with Iburst.

On multithreads, however, I can max out most downloads at 1Mbps. You could never do that on Sentech.

yes i agree better then sentech... right now a 56K modem will outperform Sentech... geez even a 36K modem would outperform Sentech...

What concerns me is I used to get atleast 500Kb on single threads. This has degraded to more then half of that figure.... Nore users on the iBurst network? Who knows... atleast I am on a month 2 month contract and atleast I can get ADSL where I live now... And yeah people can call iBurst 1Mb... but it seems unstable (and I look at the history of iBurst from WBS).

I accept instability during testing phase... but this is official... they had a press release on Sunday... And this is what the public see when they come to iBurst forum?

A company that seems to be another pie in the sky. I think Wireless is not an option anymore... I am going to give iBurst two months. If its the same sh1tty service and speed then I am leaving... go to people who know what they are doing... Telkom. Might not be 1Mb but atleast when I get home I know it is MORE stable. FASTER, RELIABLE then wireless crap!
