So, how do you hide your skelmpie?

The best option is for your wife to have her own Apple ID. She can setup her own iMessage as well as iCloud. You will still be able to use your Apple ID for the purchasing of apps, easily set in the Settings --> Store. So, she will receive her own messages.

Through all this I have sold my ipod and borrowed my daughters ipod to play about with. With her one i reset everything on the ipod and started from scratch and still messages don't work. I have just tested it now between my ipod and the ipad and ipad to ipod and none go through.

Both devices have sent and received the messages although there is a bit of a delay.
