Well, it's pretty evident that Bangladesh and Ireland are to progress.

EDIT: That Hong Kong...

Nepal setting the game up nicely for a good contest, but 4 wickets in the final over did them no favours.

Nepal had no trouble with Hong Kong. Good start for them :)

Zimbabwe v Ireland: http://www.espncricinfo.com/world-t20/engine/current/match/682901.html?version=iframe

Toss, 3pm: Ireland have won the toss and they are bowling first.

Ireland - Porterfield, K O'Brien, Sorensen, Cusack, Stirling, Joyce, Wilson, Dockrell, Thompson, McBrine, Poynter

Zimbabwe - Taylor, Masakadza, Sibanda, Chigumbura, Maruma, Raza, Utseya, Panyangara, Williams, Chatara, Kamungozi

Clear skies in Sylhet. Jonty Rhodes had a look at the pitch. It's dry and hard, slow and likely to turn a bit. Like a typical Bangladesh pitch.

A good day for Zimbabwe to begin their plight to make it into the main draw. Go Zim! :)

115/4 after 15 overs - Zim have not been allowed to kick on. Last 5 overs critical for both teams.

Zim's innings = 163/5 with Taylor's 59 being the best contribution by a country mile.

Another good contributor might have ensured that they reached 180+.

Ireland will need 164 at 8.2 runs per over to keep St Patrick's Day a happy occasion for them.

Go Zim!

163/5

defendable!

Definitely. I have hope that their slow bowlers will be the difference.
