I see the Windies took care of the Poms in their warm up game. Seems to be an easy game against the Poms at the mo?

Anyone know what happened to Dale Steyn? Quite worried that he bowled 2.2 overs... (and no he didn't get the last wicket)

Albie finished it with a 6, not a great performance though!

On radio they said a hamstring injury. Nothing further on its seriousness nor future involvement in the tournament. I do suspect that he might have been carrying a niggle. Going to have to hope for the best here.

S.A win by 5 wickets!

Morkel 27* (12).

Just do not understand why we struggled so against this team. A few players who have featured in the national side, but still. I am really worried about our batting at the moment.

Has anyone else looked at the two qualifying pools and thought that they look horribly skewed in the host's favour? One pool has Zim, Netherlands and Ireland all fighting against each other for one place. These are three teams that have world cup experience for goodness sake! The other is Bangladesh up against three completely random collections of players, of which we'll never hear from again after this T20 world cup. I'd hesitate to say that the 'draw' for these two pools was random but it just doesn't look right to me...
