Our top order has been failing throughout the super eights. You can't just ignore the problem hoping that someone will bail them out.
 
Robbie P should open the batting next time.

So what do you do? Panic and start bringing it outside players? Drop Amla? Kallis? Levi is an obvious one but is that suddenly going to change your impression of our entire top order?

And then he fails and all of a sudden everyone is asking what the hell he was doing at the top of the order. Hindsight has always been an exact science. Would Peterson still be playing paddle shots and switch hitting if he was opening the batting?
 
Sadly we are 25 runs from a defendable target here. Our batsmen just don't seem to have the mindset for this format of the game. Like it or not you just don't have 10 overs to rebuild in this format of the game. All this will do is ensure that you go out with a whisper and not with a bang. The only way to recover is to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and put the bowling team under pressure.

We don't have any great big hitting, swashbuckling batsmen in the middle order either.
 
I am very disappointed with this SA team...

the bowling is piss poor

All the Morkels can go to hell and so can Parnell.

Parnell hasn't even bowled as yet.


Moenie worry nie... He will go for some and you can throw in a few free hits as well ;)
