I can't seem to find any threads on this here.

Ice Rock Mining (IRM) seems to be a good way to make some extra cash.

They are a BTC mining company that owns an old soviet cave in Kazakstan with an all year round 12 degree temperature and low electricity costs, which makes mining a lot more profitable.

Mining only starts in June as I understand. They are currently doing a crowd funding initiative so that they can buy the equipment to mine.

Profit will be divided in 50% towards investors, 20% towards reinvestment, 20% towards costs and 10% towards management.

Read quite a lot about it and it seems legit, but also too good to be true.

Anyone else saw this?

I checked out this one and Minerone.io, since the concept is almost identical.

Minerone seemed more trustworthy, and reliable. The ICOBench rating was also much higher, so I put some cash into that. They plan to start mining in June, so hopefully it will be worth it.

I don't know if I'm allowed to share referral links, but if anyone is interested, let me know. You'll get 4% bonus tokens, and so will I.

Thanks for the link, will check it out.

Minerone invest $1000: $6700 return after 3 years = $186 p/m.
Icerock invest $1000: Eh - their ROI calculator is broken. I'm sure it was something like $200 p/m

I wouldn't trust either of their projected incomes though.

I looked at the teams instead, and the Minerone guys appeared more experienced, and knowledgeable. The locations also swayed me toward minerone. Their Swedish base is much more stable, politically and legislatively. Their payout plan, using Eth smart contracts also seemed slightly better thought out. I swayed between both for almost a week, before deciding on the one.

The ICO just reached 50% of the Hardcap, so things are looking good so far.

Ice Rock Mining's main website was hacked last night. They are busy fixing the calculator.

The Dashboard site was not hacked.

I invested into Ice Rock Mining. Done a lot of research and spoken to them to ask questions. They were also at the Crypto conference where other investors spoke to them.

They also have a previous project called ROCK1, which people are getting paid for (but it's mining contracts, not the same as this new project)

At first sight, the ICO site looks really good and so does the Instagram. However, having looked at Maliks Murzashev’s history we would advise against investing.

Here are some of the reasons:
•The website claims to double your money in 3 months. Furthermore, their profit calculator promises tripled earnings if you wait until May. This is too good to be true.
•Malik Murzashev operates 2 very sketchy sites.
•The domain is registered to an address in California even though it should be in Kazakhstan
•The team has two kids onboard, of whom one has “extensive experience in regards to the requirements of launching massive mines in the CIS”
•The CEO claims to have been the CEO of apples.kz, which supposedly served 20k customers yet has only 8 reviews on google.

There are just too many red flags and things that don’t add up to invest with a good conscience. Do not invest.

Please go away. You keep linking the same baseless website.

Curious to know how this works out.
Holding thumbs that you see some nice returns from this.

I started working for them (admin on their Teleram group and answering questions on the website) so I've got a lot of the inside info and it honestly does not sound like a scam at all, so I'm very optimistic and excited about the project.

I am sure that many of the BitCONnect telegram admins also felt the same... if it looks like a duck...

Cool :).
Nice way to learn more about the space. Good luck. Keep us posted.

They ran a previous ICO for cloud mining which was a legitimate thing and people are getting their payouts so if it was a scam, they are going through a lot of trouble for it...

And Carlos didn't go through a lot of trouble to all bitconnect? What's your point?
