Ideas for Telkom protest bumper stickers

I woke up a bit early this morning, and, feeling a bit bored, put together some ideas for bumper stickers, as there has been talk of making some on these forums.

I am no artist, so these are just ideas ( read: please don't flame me REAL artists! ) that might be of interest here.

I suppose I will get some blasted "trademark violation" communication from Telkom, but wtf!

If others want to make some more, please contact me by email and I'll put them up on the site. If you do, soon Geeks Against Telkom - GATvol - might turn into a movement!! ;)

Brilliant! I love them all, especially the 'honk if you hate' and the screw ones.

Thanks for being proactive on this.... I take it you give us your consent to use them?

We are looking for a company in Cape Town who prints stickers, so if anyone knows of one in or around the CBD area, PLEASE let me know.

Stickers will not be printed without first putting them to the vote on MyADSL. Obviously we are going to want the ones that people like best, so don't worry about that.

We also won't be spedning a lot of money on a first run print of stickers. We'll probably only do a few and see how it all works out.
 
I'm getting all of them! Putting them on my wall as well. :D

EDIT: BTW, I have contacts with print-houses in the Centurion area that can do stickers, if you want to print some locally as well.

Debbie2 - you may use them with pleasure. I used a couple of bits of clipart and as far as I could ascertain the clipart is freely usable. Still think a proper artist could do a better job though ;)

Agreed - unfortunately the Telkom logo especially won't do for high-quality printing...

Wonder if we can ask Telkom for a nice, big image, for, um...?
 
I added a couple more for the hell of it. Could that be I.V. showing her better end?:eek:

Well this lot made my day..... LOL

You might be able to print them on a inkjet and then spray them with clear lacquer, I will try some and see, if successful I can post the results

Two things I was thinking of is printing a sticker - Talk is cheap - Telkom is not

And then just printing a sticker with the word Sucks.... Which people could put next to whatever word they do not like :)
 
Excellent!

Its a good idea if everyone can print there own bumper stickers onto the correct medium. That way it will solve a logistical headache.

Just publish the samples with some recommendations on what medium to use and let people go mad!
