If you could only pick one device, which one would it be?

At least the best that you can get from the top of the range latops. Even if you could get to pick it out for free! Wow! what a dream
 
as much as i love my desktop, having the internet at my fingertips and the ability to communicate with others trumps the benefits other devices may bring: smnartphone is a no-brainer choice.

i mean seriously, no phone?

a large-ish smartphone with all the bangs and whistles. pick your choice from the current crop of flagships (they are all so devoid of personality that they may as well be the same)
 
I have a dell developer edition now, it's a bit old.
The latest developer edition and I'll say laptop.
 
Phone - iPhone 6 Plus...haven't tested the 7 yet (hoping for a revolutionary 10th anniversary edition, so holding out for that one).
 
I'd have to go with a laptop - can't work without one and no work means no food.
 
Am I paying for this?
If not, it could only be a fully tricked-out gaming PC of immense power and staggering cost. It would look pretty, as would the accompanying peripherals [the best VR gear available included] :):love:
 
Laptop - tough, light, portable and powerful i.e. Dell XPS 13 (...no, i don't work for Dell :-)
