... watch out.

I've had a 1000 SMS bundle for a year, as well as 2GB data monthly. I decided I only need 500 SMS and phoned in a few days ago to decrease to 500 SMS.

I received an SMS stating 1000 bundle removed, 500 bundle added - as well as 'welcome to premium email' and 'your email address is [email protected]'. I didn't even then to touch the data side - only the SMS bundle side.

Today I decide to check my SMS bundle and receive 'no SMS bundle active'. Hmmm. I decide to check my data bundle, which should be 1GB carry over + the 2GB and gues what? 'no data bundle active'.

I'm not asking for help yet, but will try the 'email customer care route' again. Obviously I'd like them to reimburse me, as I never cancelled the data side and have no idea how much I've used in the past few days which should come off my bundle.

Just a warning to check what VC has actually done on the account :/

Please may I have your number. I know you not asking for help, but please PM me your number. I want to check on the system what happened.

Thanks ocleroux.

All SMSs have come through.

In my experience call recording software is essential on all phones. Just telling call centre agents, telemarketers, bank officials etc you are recording a call reduces cr@p like this

@Dolby

I believe that you have been contacted and advised with regards to a pending re-tariff, Also your carryover data lost as a result of the incorrect bundle deactivation has been restored

Yay again to both of you actually ;)

Thanks guys

burnt by the call center many times with data bundle activation/de-activation....

the vodacom4me website seems to be the most reliable way so far for managing your services

That's if the website is able to process your request. Far too often you get an error message.
