Illustrator Font issue

Can anyone maybe help me i am having huge issue with my illustrator my font wont preview.
I have over 20 000 fonts so the thing wont load my fonts up is there anyway i can get this working ?
Everything else works Corel, Photoshop and Indesign but for the life of me Illustrator does not want show the previews. If u right click go tto fonts it wont show there top aswell any ideas ?
 
goswold i always just threw my fonts in by windows/fonts
never heard of it actually :P
Ill go check up on it any program u can suggest
