I'm doing it: Going from Android to iPhone

The one thing I'm definitely going to miss though is the Android hidden folder option, it basically allows you a whole second OS on your phone, duplicating apps, etc.

Apple doesn't seem to have anything similar to hide apps, well, not as comprehensive.
I like to hide banking apps
Yeah, “banking app”…

Seamless my ass.

Was trying to help a friend the other day, who is moving from a Huawei to an iPhone. Everything else transferred over just fine, but no luck with the WhatsApp messages.

Tried three times and it just bombs out.
Huawei is not Android so to be expected you'd struggle.

My experience was the same. Absolute nightmare! Was for my daughter's phone and her tears at losing her chats kept me going in circles for hours. Eventually found a work-around that worked. Definitely not a simple and straightforward process at all, and seeing how ubiquitous whatsapp has become, makes no sense that it's not simple.

Good luck.I changed over about 10 years ago and haven’t looked back. Each has their pros and cons and it ultimately boils down to personal preference.

yeah, I think you decide what your priorities are in what you want from a phone and decide based on that which is better
This whole fanboy thing either way is nuts, especially from supposed tech people

There are things android does better, and there are things iOS does better, go with which one does the stuff better that matter to you

Been a macbook user for 10 years, using iPad for 3 or so
Have always had an Android phone, but I've decided it's time to finally take the move

I don't do much on my iPad other than use it for sheet music when I play in orchestras, so I really don't know iOS well
It's gonna be an interesting learning curve, but we'll see!
Welcome and congratulations!
If you know to get around an iPad you should be good.
16 Pro Max is an excellent choice too!
