My time is little and I can feel it stealing my life.. that's right.. I've been infected with dead pixelitus.. a deadly disease with no known cure X(
Anyway back to reality, I had some real problems in the past with dead/stuck pixels on various devices. I guess I'm one of those folks with pixel sharp eyesight since I find these things not even 5 minutes after getting/seeing the device. My first dead (black) pixel was on my old Samsung D600 smack in the middle of the screen. Then I had to 2 stuck (green and blue) on my 22" Acer LCD which I immediately sold. I then got a Philips LCD with 1 dead pixel but decided to just keep the damn thing (even though it still annoys the hell out of me)
Last year my friend and I decided to get ourselves each a Sony PSP. What a horrible idea since we went though 5 units each (10 in total!!!!) and still could not find a pixel perfect PSP. We ended using the money for other stuff (and made some real enemies with the sales folk and CNA and Game in the meantime).
So now I have a brand new Nintendo DS Lite....with yes ...1 dead pixel on the left part of the touch screen. It's really small/feint and they'll most probably not even see it if I take it back so I guess I'll just have to live with it... but it really bugs me that my eyes keep going back to the damn pixel since I know it's there and it's always running through my mind which kinda messes up the experience with the unit.
For gods sakes I hate these damn pixel related problems! I really which there was some way that I could just ignore them. Everywhere I go, I check on people's LCD for pixel problems (I do this without even knowing) and it really bugs me.
I want a cure!
