Just ran a 3dMark 2006 on a friends system.
1694 3dMarks
2021 CPU Score

Don't think the test uses both cpu's

System specs:
E6600 2.4Ghz
1gb DDR2-667mhz (2x 512Mb)
250Gb SATA2-16mb Seagate HDD
Leadtek 6600GT 128Mb PciX

Any other benchmarks i can run? (links?)

The CPU score is spot on and with the 6600gt you also got a comparable score. No worries with that result

You could always do the PCMark05 test. If you want to compare the E6600 this would be a good one.

Just to point out. I have an AMD 4400+ and my CPU score is only 1867 (compared to your 2021) although my 3DMark06 score is 5659 due to the GPU

What GPU do you have?
I also noticed that the benchmark do not utilize both CPU's, only the one. So theoretically it could be higher....not sure.
 
No it does utilize both CPU's why would it not?
Disable one core, run the test again and loko at your score.
 
Ran Task manager in the background, only one of the cpu's showed load. Will go disable a cpu and re-run the tests tonight.
Busy downloading PCmark05...

ps. Have idiot ran any benchmark on his pc yet?

Im also getting some new stuff...

A Asus board for around 780 with the onboard 6150. I cant afford a new graphics card yet and all I play is Warcraft at the moment so I'll upgrade later. its a nice board though. amazing for the prices me thinks..

its AM2, then im geting a 3500+ AM2 and 1GB of 667 to go with it.
I dont have much money okay... and a 250gig 16mb SATAII drive.
 
Hey guys i've put the scores on sorry for the long wait but i actually had to still wait a while before i got my CPU :D

Tell me what you think... i havn't ever really tested it on 3d mark before so let me know if its OK.
