I'm using Firefox 3 and....

But for now FF3 sucks,i mean a full minute to open, thats just enough for me to shoot myself

I must say I've never had problems with FF taking long to open, and I've been using every release from the earliest betas to the latest v3. A full minute sounds to me like "something is wrong", not an inherent property of FF3 itself. (Mine takes under two seconds, and I'm running my CPU at half speed i.e. 1GHz - long story.)

The main thing I like about FF3 is that it remembers what Windows I had open between sessions (like Opera has done for ages, to be fair). Other than that, I haven't yet noticed anything else that makes me specifically prefer to use it over FF2. (Of course, if a person's reference point is IE, then that's another story.) One other feature I wish they'd copied from Opera is the ability to "undo" a "close tab" operation. I still prefer FF over Opera though even though it tends to trail it feature-wise, partly because of the addons.

the "undo" a "close tab" option comes with the TAB MIX PLUS extention;)

as far as i am aware Tab Mix Plus has not been officially released for FF3 by the maintainer. That right there might be your problem.

Or are you using the beta version, which could also be causing your issues.

I've got quite a few already but any recommendations?
Sure thing bud:

Digg Firefox Extension
Download Statusbar

Thanks. :) *starts Googling*

I know but I find the easiest way to get to the extension on the site is just to Google it.

Me too. Try searching for "DownThemAll" or "Down Them All" on the FF add-ons website. It does not show up. Google's first result, however, is to the DownThemAll add-on :)

I hardly ever use a site's own search function anymore, better just to search the site with Google.:)

true, sometimes there is a newer version on the dev site than mozilla has found that out in the FF3 dev stage

did you consider the fact that Tab Mix Plus might the cause of your problems?

sigh, my firefox is making my explorer.exe chew up 255mb of my ram!

No problem with 2GB RAM installed on my laptop. :)

*Laptop & desktop RAM are SO cheap now, if your computer is slow because of insufficient RAM, it's your own fault. ;)

Mine is running fine, even with the FireFTP and sidebar add-ons.

I think you did something really bad. :(

I think it is one of my Oracle applications that's breaking it. I only have session manager installed as an addon. How terrible if one of you browser apps can just break FF3.
