Imagine Uncapped Feedback

My speeds on the weekend were good, but as I expected that was because it was the weekend.... Now it's slow again... :(

I'm getting MAX 4kbs on usenet and p2p. And this is with a 4096k uncapped account.

Start Time: 12:38:45
End time: 12:39:05
Download Speed: 20 KBytes/s
Line Speed: 160 kbits/s

Speed dropped to this level at around 08:15 and has remained there ever since. Not happy.

Also getting ~20KBps maximum on my line.

I'm on the 4mbps account and during the day it definitely seems to be shaped more than one would think is necessary and the night seems to start quite late too ;)

My guess is no -- I think a more likely scenario is that all the IS basic uncapped accounts have been allocated a single pool of bandwidth which we all have to share. So if everyone is logged on and busy downloading you just get your share of that pool.

Any comments from IS or Imagine on this?

Time to create a pool for payment and you pay pro rata of your allocated share. Uncapped Sucks.

The reason I am thinking throttling is because of these results:

Rebooted router and all of a sudden:

Better, but maybe it's just cause of the weekend...

We both got exactly the same line speed and download speed.....
