Imagine Uncapped Feedback

Couldnt agree more!!!

I had had multiple connection issues on top of everything else... I have local only, then the whole connection just drops, although my router says connected, no traffic comes through.

Starting to feel that only MWEB really have an offering worth considering, certainly no one else is making much of a case for themselves at the moment!

I understand that these accounts are re-sold, but why re-sell such a terrible product and associate your name with it?

However, Imagines response to customer issues has been really good up until now, I am really pulling for them and hoping that this is an issue they can get sorted out soon!

My openweb account is flying since yesterday! Emailed Mrbeep and about 20 minutes later speeds shot up. Check the Openweb thread/.

Hi Cableguy, I am not sure what emailing MrBeep about the Openweb account will do for someone on an Imagine account?? Care to elaborate bud?

I can honestly say I have not experiences any issues with my Imagine account yet. I have been using this account since the 1st of April and have been downloading torrents and listening to music from Last.fm since then.

my 384 runs as fast as it can all the time. i don't do torrents but have downloaded quite a few videos.

So it's as good as a 384 is going to get and I haven't had any loss of service.

yip same here. hopefully by the time my exchange can do 4096 these issues will also be sorted.

Still experiencing POOR speeds, 70kbps, local and international newservers....Come on, whats going on here?

Ppedrick, can you please provide some feedback?

Well I got sorted with my connection finally thanks to Kingsley and Curtis @ imagine :) Still having a few issues with speeds (bittorrent and news gigaserve) and connecting with custom p2p software (work) no matter what ports we use. All "standard" stuff works as advertised pretty much so I am assuming there is some kind of shaping going on here as I can't find any other reason.

Yeah but surely there shouldn't be too much shaping on HTTP and Youtube type stuff.....

Loading flash games takes like 8-10minutes!!!

and soem sites still struggle loading.

Ooh.... only saw this thread now.
Been with Imagine since last month and my http speeds have been fine...
But gtalk/ steam on ocassion have bummed out on me, more often than not..... and news/torrents were close to non-existant. Averaged about 100MB a day on those two. Internet was fine on a prepaid account, so it was an issue with this account.

I heard from the technical staff...

The account is permanently shaped and torrents and newservers apparently have the lowest priority... So there it is!

Hmm.... but damn.... I mean I've finished a total of two files on a news server with the account.... time taken: a week.

I just received this email from Imagine:

"Dear Clients

we at imagine wants to if you received your account details for the 38k uncapped account which was allocated to you."

That's it... Quoted without changing anything.... No regards, Thanks, just that, terrible grammar.

What is this???!??? ppedrick you still here?

Wow i only found this post just now. I read all 10 pages from start to finish. I need to change to uncapped as well but on the 384k account. Other ISP's uncapped are shaped alot. I read the first few pages and I thought Imagine is the best uncapped ISP regarding p2p and streaming of video contents. With ppedrick replying so enthusiastically, fast and helping to sort problems or questions it really seemed very nice. Now people are complaining bout speeds since the 31st of last month and ppedrick last reply was 8 days back. All my hope sunk back in again. Seems i get to stay on my 10gig until I can figure out which ISP is best.
