Can the HTC version be loaded on the IMATE without any mods?

Tested my SIM on a 3G card, was getting 800 Kbps + so its def something on the phone =(

BTW, latest ROM from HTC is 2.20

Bad news, it seems that XDA has removed all the ROMs from their FTP. Microsoft forced them to do so. sucky

BTW, did you know that there is a WM6 cooked ROM for the JAMin/Prophet floating about?

NB, it is always risky to flash cooked ROM's!!! (but apparently it's quite a good one)

All the devices have a CID which needs to be kicked to the Curb .. No rocket science is needed to do this ...
all you would need to do is get hold of the ROM ... use WinRar and extract the ROM contents .. you then need to get hold of the MakeNoId.exe and copy the file into extracted ROM folder ... then run the MakeNoId.exe and you should be good to go ...

as far as i know it is only the HTC devices that have been branded by network carriers that are SIM locked ... Orange, O2 and those boys ... So you can come out now ...
