iMessage slow

Hi

Has anyone noticed that iMessage is slow since iOS 8?

I've had this issue on and off since upgrading and so has another friend of mine.

I have a 5c and he has the 4s.

Mine is working fine. Sure it's not the network?

No problems. Are you talking about sending normal messages, or pictures?

Can;t be the network as I used my wi-fi at home and at work

Well pictures usually takes a while, especially on WiFi since it doesn't compress the pics as much as when on 3G afaik, and assumes our WiFi is up to international standards

Is it to the same person, or all contacts?

I only have 1 iMessage contact so not sure lol

iMessage is much improved for me, iPad's Air, 3 and 4. Loving the new keyboard, loving the improved Siri, loving support for voice messages.

Not ready to forfeit jailbreak on 5c so can't comment on that...
