Aylesbury is a charming little town. I live 1km from town centre and everything is within walking distance. First day was rough as some things didn't go according to plan and I was wondering if I made a bad decision.
Sunday was a bright sunny day and I went out and explored. And I've enjoyed each day since

It's not gonna be smooth. There will be hiccups and setbacks, but nothing you can't overcome... You're welcome to reach out if you want advice or a chat or anything

Aylesbury is very pretty. I bought my car from the subaru dealer there
 
Echo what Sinbad said, plans don’t always pan out the way you hope but you’ll find your groove.
We came here with no long term place to stay, no jobs and no school for the kids. That first month was stressful but at the same time felt like such an adventure. When we eventually got a place we slept on blow up mattresses and had no furniture. A year in our place now and it feels like home.

Sidenote: Have you all had the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets the last couple of days too?

If its easy, everyone would be doing it ;-)

I also had my fair share of frustrations initially. Trying to figure out new processes, public transport, navigating etc.
