I wouldn't say very since there are British Citizens that are not entitled to pass their citizenship down to their offspring. With luck though the COE will be resolved before your travels.

I always wondered what the story would be for a Canadian and Brit living in South Africa giving birth to a child (both not entitled to pass on their citizenships)I wouldn't say very since there are British Citizens that are not entitled to pass their citizenship down to their offspring. No, South African.
Only get SA citizenship if one of the parents is South African.

My kid was born in SA. He's not allowed SA citizenship because none of his parents were citizens at the time.
You might want to check again. There was a recent con court ruling.

Okay so one still needs to apply for citizenship and meet all the other requirements. It’s not automatic.

Too late. Have left the country already. Not all countries have birthrights though. And what does the child do until they become a major? Use travel documents instead of passports?

We used a service called "the declutter fairy" - based in jhb north. They came and took everything, they post it on all the market places and you get monies deposited once a month if anything sold. Worked quite well for us. Granted, we only used it for the stuff that wasn't sold like 2 days before we left.

We had open days for all our stuff with dates available to take and it just worked thankfully. Remember the day of, an hour before we headed to Shaka airport, the couple things got picked up

Child has to apply for passport of the country that they belong to (or rather their parents' country). Till they reach 18. And then the long journey to SA citizenship begins.
