We flew Virgin so it was what it was. We got in so early on, a Sunday morning, that the arrivals hall was empty so we went straight through on the UK queue. Even the roads home were quiet albeit with a ton of detours.

I expected it to be much busier?

We're flying with BA - which was a bit cheaper than Virgin - since those two airlines are the only ones doing direct flights, we went with BA. Landing at Heathrow. Hopefully it's an alright flight.

Also zero queues anywhere. Very pleasant flight. Virgin has the best flight attendants imho

I find them a lot more expensive than BA. Not sure it's worth the extra expense?

Slight edge personally over BA .... wider seats than BA and the food is way better. I don't mind paying a bit extra for those. I always skimp on my trip compared to my flight

It's a nice overcast day with a bit of drizzle today, a welcome change over the last couple of weeks of sun making it hot and humid.
