For the UK do you also have to "link" the pets to your flight and travel within seven days of each other?

I think it's 5 days for UK but doesn't have to be the pets owner necessarily.
There's a facebook group for people to request travel buddies for their pets.
All you neeed really is a copy of a flight ticket and signed form of someone travelling within 5 days of the pet.
No idea. Agents are handling it all. We send them on a plane on the 19th of July. And we fly 20th July. So everyone should arrive at the same day in uk.

Always hear good things about them. Our last BA flight was very average. And they forgot to unload the stroller - which meant a long walk to boarder control at Heathrow.

Once you get ILR then it's worth going for citizenship. If you only have ILR and you leave the country for more than 180 days then you have to start from scratch again with all the visas.
Not true. You can be away from the UK for up to two years. After that you’d apply for a returning resident visa to get ILR back.

No, two years.
If you stay outside the UK, Ireland or the Crown Dependencies (Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey), for 2 or more years at a time your ILE or ILR will automatically end.
Yup. Or what’s known as the common travel area.
Just a matter of applying for a returning resident visa if that happens.
But getting citizenship is of course worth it regardless.

You’re probably thinking about the amount of time you cannot be outside the UK if you want to apply for ILR. Which is 450 days I think.
On a visitor visa you cannot spend more than 180 days inside the UK per calendar year.

IIRC (did it years ago) it’s for BEFORE you apply for ILR, eg: during your ancestry visa.

That was the biggest pisstake. Adding 9 more official languages didn’t mean that South Africans suddenly couldn’t speak English.
