I am moving in with my in-laws (into my wife's old bedroom ironically enough)Astro, is there no mate or family you can move in with when your liteys go over to mom to help you cut down on running 2 households? Apologies if you've mentioned this before.
Actually said something similar to my wife a few weeks back, I am not looking forward to being "left behind" but I can't wait for my kids to join their momOn the bright side your kids and wife will be together. That’s got to be hell on a mother. Fathers, we suck it up and deal.

And that for multiple reasons but cost is one of them, I will save around R2000pm on petrol alone to work and back, never mind all the other random household expenses.
I'll obviously pay them board and lodging.
I was given the option of my sisters granny flat but distance from work and her very busy social life (2 to 3 gatherings at her house every week) put me off as I plan to use the time productively and need fewer distractions.
Godspeed.I am moving in with my in-laws (into my wife's old bedroom ironically enough)![]()
LOL, not about peace and quiet, Just so that my kids can start settling into their new life (this whole thing has been terrible on them both and they need stability, they have none right now, watching me dismantle our life, empty the house they both grew up in from birth etc and uncertain about future, new schools new life and if I will ever join them and and and).Yeah I get that. Some peace and quiet for a little bit
How old are the kids?
I also do not want to stay in the house after the kids have left, it would feel like living in a graveyard of memories. That's cool, I was sitting here thinking gods I hope he's at least got that option to save some dosh!
Need to head to SA next week.
Cant wait to be welcomed back by homeless directing traffic in stage 6 lol
Just started spouse visa application. It’s a lengthy application form. Asking all sorts of questions spent ten mins just filling out part one.
Hoping to submit the application within the next week and finally get off the SWV.
I’m told it’s around 8 weeks to get a decision within the UK. Let’s see…

Healthcare surcharge.Current fees for IHS if anyone is wondering - First Family visa.
Although, I should be getting around £2k refund, within 28 days.

Yup you saw with your own eyes the decay and how fast it spreadWas there for two weeks, arrived back in England on Friday.
In JHB, pretty much all traffic lights are dysfunctional in some way. Grass verges over 1m tall, potholes literally everywhere - but outsurance were doing the traffic directing and CoJ were doing maintenance in few places.
For a non British citizen this is for NHSHealthcare surcharge.
