Hi all. Any suggestions on how to cancel a Telkom mobile LTE contract. I was instructed by Telkom to fill in a cancellation form and submit to them and someone would be in contact with me within 4 weeks. It's been close to 8 weeks now and no contact. Meanwhile the wasted subscription keeps hitting my account...:
I had similar experience. Took out the contract. Tested that night. Was worse then my ADLS speed.
Took the unit back the following day to get cancelled. Telkom store did the cancelation. I then received a bill for the account.
I queried the account by dialling the 081 ... number.
Cutting the story short. I was told that I'm on cool down period.
In the mean time I saw on the Telkom map some adjustments were made.
I went back to the store requested my modem back and sim-card. I did test that night and real good results from this.
So ever since I'm with Telkom mobile.
