Improving iBurst performance (MTU settings)

Ok, I see 1364 is my optimal MTU.... Can't remember working that out previously, but ok

its worked out by opening command prompt c:>ping -f -l 1364 google.com (or any website) change the number to 1363 or 1365 and you get errors

but you add 28 to it (an overhead that it needs) so 1392 is actually what you put into DrTCP if that is the program you using.

Thanks. I did that and it worked out like this. Added 28 to get 1364. Is it "supposed" to be 1392? I'm doing it through my router, not DrTCP.

Edit: Doing it now on my work PC with my 1mb modem and it does work out to 1392. Strange. Will double check on the 2mb modem setup later.

Is anyone else experiencing high ping the last couple of days on speedtest.net? Mine has gone from 45ms or so to 140ms. Speed is down as well. (this is with either MTU setting)
