In-car video camera - anyone with experience?

Ive decided to purchase one. Bought it for R280 from DHGate ( http://www.dhgate.com/2-5-ir-car-ve...80808132c9ca18013305bca31a0177.html#s1-2-null ). Waiting for it to arrive. I see they are becoming very popular in Russia to catch out corrupt cops and bad driving.

That is super cheap. Wonder if it will last. Please do let us know what you think when you get it. Will easily install them in each car if it works decently.

Will do so, as you know with this kinda stuff its normally a gamble... but it was cheap enough for me to test. Not sure how it will handle heat inside the car and stuff like that. Will upload the video`s I take so you can see quality, etc.

The sound is another advantage, when pulled over by cops. Just let it record their bribe requests,

I use on everyday, every time I am in my car, it record front and in the cabin but you can decide which one to switch off.
It has GPS so when you play back it shows you where you were on Google Maps
It records Audio but can be switched off.
It also records any impact by means of a graph during playback.
All recording is HD and it uses a 32gig SD card.

Cost me a bit but its worth it.

I think about a week or 2 depending on. How much driving I do.

The devices need to be able to stream the last X seconds via 3G at the press of a button otherwise the cops can just confiscate the device(s) if they want to get rid of the evidence (like they currently do if you record them with your mobile phone).

I drive alone all day, and then recording myself, no thank you.
Maybe for taxi's.
