... of looking at all your fabulous photos, reading up the web about composition etc and attempting a few of mine own shots - I now look at my friends photo's and think quietly to myself 'straighten!', 'under exposed!', 'power lines in the way!' or 'should've got better angle!'

Thanks MyBB for making me crital of photos ;)

LOL, I am the same especially on the straighten.

For example looking at some of the photo's people post on Facebook, 1 Gazillion of the same photo's all out of focus and just shake my head.

It's the fashion of the young generation...sometimes you do find pictures that are awesome though.

What I hate is them posting shots of the same scene (probably shots taken within 2 seconds of each other) and putting them all up. All with crap composition and so many of the same stuff. There are some awesome ones tho now and then. Choose your best shots *amit.

I totally agree.

I visit this forum regularly and it's easy to feel a little inferior (even a little embarassed) when I compare my pictures to some of the pictures you other formites post. But, in the end it's enspiring me to just try harder. At least everyone is always very helpful and always makes you feel welcome.

Thanks guys, your contributions make this a valuable resource for me.

I couldn't agree more.

I've learnt a while ago, mainly by playing sport, that you should always play ball with those that are better than you. You might loose constantly or feel inferior, but it does motivate you to push harder. There are always people that you can learn from in any walk of life, and as I have learnt from sooo many I am all too happy if others can learn from me.
