Incompetent Technical/Hardware Support from Telkom

I am once again completely and utterly astounded at the useless product a supposedly world-class telecoms company provides in the form of their 3G internet option.

Telkom can provide you with a 3G sim card but cannot provide you with a means to USE the card or any practical ADVICE on how to go about getting a working modem.

I have now gone through THREE modems at a cost of R1200 and NONE of them will run the Telkom 3G card properly.

If the sales consultant cannot provide a working modem to use the card - apparently they are COUNTRYWIDE OUT OF STOCK?!?!?!? - then they should at least be able to advise what MODEL and where one must buy a modem that can run the Telkom software

SHOCKING!

I am going to cancel my month old Telkom 3G account and move to Vodacom since I already have TWO Vodacom 3G modems which I cant run Telkom software through.

Superbly poor technical support telkom. Completely dissappointed.
