Yes, these accounts are good, treat them with respect and they will return the favour :)

Expect some light shaping during the day, but I was okay with that.
 
Will nntp downloads also effect my star rating ? Also does connection use the standard IS news servers ?

I'm no expert but Sickbeard and nzbzombie works for me with my series, I still torrent for movies with YIFY, and other stuff when no nzb, but install peerblock.

I'm sure there are nzb threads out there :)

I have done the same... and thus far it is proving to be a solid little performer.

For R99 a month I really am impressed.

Puts other R399 Business Uncapped Unshaped packages * coffcoff Afrohost ** to shame.

Let's see if it lasts tho'.
 
Apologies for asking on this thread again just cant seem to get an answer. Why does sunnyusenet have an retention if you cant search for nzb with them. Why not just use IS servers that is free. What am I missing ?

Kensei,you seem confused

There are 2 parts to Usenet
Server
and Indexer

Indexer gives the files you add to your client
Your client then connects to the server to try download the articles that comprise the file(s)

Free servers like IS have very short retention ( 1week - 1month ) so anything older might be missing
Paid for servers have much longer retention,up to a few years

Indexers on the other hand are a dime a dozen,there are local ones and international. Some open and some by invitation. You can use whatever indexer

AFAIK, you will have the same problem with IS, you need to register with a free indexer site (hard to find for me at least), the only one that I could find was nzbzombie, and put those details into sickbeard (which also is an indexer but not as accurate). This is for series.

I can't get couch potato to work so I p2p (with peerblock) movies.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong.
 
That makes sense now. I guess I was lucky before using nzbsa as an indexer and there files that you can download were not very old hence IS worked.

Well if its mostly recent stuff you should be able to use IS news. It's just so cheap for services like sunny that you have the convenience of downloading much older too

Now that I understand I will definitely make use of for ex. sunnyusenet.

Hey guys..

I signed up for this account the beginning of March 2014. As this was new to me I downloaded like crazy as with any new toy one gets :) My star rating dropped down to 2 which seriously affected my downloads and streaming. After researching a bit via this forum, I found the trick....

Scheduled my NZB downloads for between 23:00 & 06:00 and voila - Up to 4 stars within 2 days and happy as can be.

No complaints with this bargain of an account
