Inet dating....

Sue the wife for slander as she made false allegations in a public place. You need an witness though. Since it was a first date suing the husband won't make much sense although a lawyer might disagree.

I never said I support cheaters, I was just pointing out that this guy is not the only cheater known to human kind so it's not new thing. I am actually more concerned about Carol fighting her friend's battles while her friend couldn't even lay a charge of assault agaist the wife.
She doesn't want to lay a charge against the wife because she actually feels sorry for the bloody woman. And really, what battle am I fighting, I told the story here and mentioned his name...no where does it state that we are only allowed to tell our own stuff and not the experiences of people known to us.

And it's very clear you have sympathy for the man, you obviously have something in common with him. Maybe pop him a mail and tell him how to go about picking up women without getting caught out!

In actual fact most men cheat on their spouses but this is now between him and his wife, sorry that your friend was humiliated again that's her battle to fight, the best route she should have taken was to open a case of assault against the wife. I still don't see where you fit in.

Speak for yourself and don't insinuate that others are as you are!!!

I dated Barry Stander, you dated Barry Stander, WE ALL DATED BARRY STANDER!!!

Neither me nor the husband wears a band, really, that is not a way to confirm marriage. I have never worn a ring for the 10 years we been married.

going through a rough patch in your marriage?

Ok..I know the wrong thing to ask on a male dominated forum, but my friend went on an internet date with an oke this week...while seated at the dinner table and ordering her drink( not even starter) , the douches wife rocks up and lays into her...as in like they have a physical fight....my friend totally unknew that he was married....the wife screaming at her in the Dros that she is a host of unmentionables, also that he has obviously done this before....among other things...lol...I have his card, he is a CEO of a huge company, and just for the fun of it, I've sent him quite a few dirty messages tonight telling him to say sorry to my friend or else....but nothing...how arrogant.

Should I leave it or play it to its full? My friend was bloody hurt, her reputation in ruins at the resturant in question and I guess, any internet daters worst nightmare come true.

Your friend

Things aren't adding up here. But all this sue for defamation talk is codswallop if you look at how much it costs. South Africans like to threaten to sue a lot, but rarely do.

Abzo, not sure, think it was something like beboo/ bedoo free dating site.

Yep, besides the scammers and suspect married men, she has also met some awesome people. She is not looking for anything serious, just having fun, meeting new people and enjoying herself. This experience was a first.

Anyhow, the least we hope to achieve is that any future dates of his google his name, hopefully they see this and avoid the trouble. Also, after being pulled off my friend by management, his wife screamed to everyone in the resturant that she was going to be calling her lawyer, I hope she has! My friend does not blame his wife in the least...this is not her fault.

If it isn't too late, tell her to stay away from cumtree

It really does not matter whether this actually happened to Carol or to a friend of hers. The fact remains that the man is an ******* of note.

Whilst the guy is a douchebag your pal needs to be more savvy if she intends to play with fire. Or she will just get burnt, rinse and repeat.
