She doesn't intend to play with fire...she just wants to meet new people and get out there. She is not very clued up with internet dating and nor am I so cant help her all the time.

Lol, this is not me nor my husband..If it happened to me, I would not be ashamed to admit it..my friend didn't do anything wrong.
and really, just because I don't wear a wedding ring, doesn't mean that my marriage is in trouble.

Anyhow, just got a message that he has finally seen fit to apologise this morning and my friend asked that I edited his name from my post so have done so. If anyone else feels they want to and he maybe has learned a lesson, they can do so as well.

Lol, not sure which Dros it happened at but imagine since she lives in Bellville, was in that area!

*sigh* sometimes I'm amazed at how childish people are. AND IM THE BIGGEST KID OF THEM ALL. Yet I don't spend my time or energy on revenge or hate or whatever.

It has nothing to do with where/how she meets her dates. You can't run out into the world an innocent little lamb and not expect to get slaughtered.

Yes, we messaged him on Friday if no apology was forth-coming, we will be outing him. He apologized this morning afaik as yesterday she messaged me and said she had heard nothing. All he had to do was apologise. How could he ignore that he tried to cheat, his wife acted like a crazed lunatic and think that that's ok and just get on with life. Its NOT ok!

And Acid, really...it may be childish or "revengy", but hopefully it will deter him in future, rather leave a marriage if you want to play the field. A lot of people land up being hurt when someone cheats.

Shaun, I don't understand?

Is it not simply a case of seeing a profile you may like, being honest, not putting 15 year old pictures of yourself (she says this happens a lot), not claiming to be single when you are not etc.? whats the point of lying when you know you can eventually be caught out if you actually land up liking the person and wanting to spend more time with them? It doesn't make sense!

Exactly, people can lie in person just as easily as they can online
 
Maybe they role play and your friend got caught up in their game?

Jealous wife and make up sex?

Most likely not but...... there are some weird folk out there.
