Info bill postponed until early 2011

Work on the Protection of Information Bill, that has provoked an outcry over its potential threat to media freedom, was on Thursday postponed until early next year.

instead of just complaining, the media houses should agree to shred the ANC in their publications, until the bill is scrapped. so you cant report things like corruption, but you can spread other news, such as the failure of government to perform on its duties, supply housing, deal with poverty etc. Imagine every newspaper printed stories of ANC's inability to perform in every publication. That would be devastating, and certainly more effective than a group of journalists standing on the side of the road with placards and tape across their mouths.

Under the Bill, ALL those stories would be censored :(
