Hi guys,
I don't know whether this information has been posted yet, but I thought since I have the info, I should share it with those who may need it and since I couldn't find good sources, I thought that this may help.
This is for those of you that use mobile broadband connections to connect your PS4/Xbox One console to the internet and are experiencing the limits that are connected to the NAT Type 3. (I am not sure if this problem occurs with PS3/Xbox360, but it will definitely work for any device)

I recently had a clients who had issues playing and communicating with online games. Now most posts would suggest that you do port forwarding or DMZ, however, not all routers support this and if you use a dongle, it may be even more difficult and as in this case. With Fifa, there are over a thousand ports to open and the port forwarding on my client's router doesn't support ranges to be specified, thus it would have taken forever to specify each port and then you also have the trouble that you need to make your console use static IP's.
So in our searches, we read about the unrestricted APN that you can apply for at the ISP's, and according to the sources it solves all those problems. That is unfortunately the extent of their explanation/solution/help and this is the reason I am posting this.
So my one client told me that he will go and apply by signing an indemnity form. I explained to him that I am quite sure that they should give him another APN setting and that he must ask for it and I will change it. But as you all know, these guys are extremely poorly trained and told him that there is no need for the APN to change, it is connected to the sim. I disagreed from the start, but told him that he should test, but I am sure that we will once again be set up for failure. As expected, I was right. I called the ISP(in this particular case, Vodacom), they still maintained that there is no need to change the APN. I thought I won't waste my breath in arguing with these guys.
After a bit of googling, googling and more googling, I finally found one site with some info to change the APN to "unrestricted", we tested and whala, Type 2.

So finally, here are the steps:
1. Apply for an unrestricted APN with your ISP (Requires the signing of an indemnity form. Not sure if this applies to all the ISP's)
2. Wait for the confirmation email/sms that your unrestricted APN is active/approved (usually 24 - 48 hours)
3. Go to the APN settings of your device (router, phone/tablet, dongle software) and either just change the APN or create a new APN.
4. Change the APN from "internet" to "unrestricted" (without quotes) and save. If you are creating a new APN just enter your personalized APN Name and enter the APN as mentioned above with no username or password.
5. Wait for it to reconnect to the internet (if you created a separate APN, ensure that you select the "unrestricted APN" to connect with by default)
6. Test your PS4/Xbox One network settings and enjoy the result of NAT Type 2
No hassles of port forwarding or DMZ or even disabling uPNP.
This has been tested with a Hauwei LTE router and a Samsung Galaxy phone.
Info that I obtained regarding the unrestricted APN:
Vodacom: Need to sign indemnity form (available to both contract and prepaid customers)
MTN: Not sure (apparently only available to contract customers)
Cell C: Not sure
Telkom mobile: Apparently unrestricted by default. (I can sort of confirm this, since the one client in this trio had Telkom mobile and he had NAT Type 2)
If you have any info to add that I left out or more on the provider's method of obtaining the APN, please comment and I will update the post to the best of my ability.
